Evening meal, seven nights a week from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to anyone in need of a hot, nutritious meal. Most of the men, women and children using the Soup Kitchen are homeless, but some are very low-income renters (including senior citizens) who come for a free meal in order to help make ends meet.

Social Services, including Child Care
We are the state’s human services provider. We help vulnerable Marylanders buy healthy foods, pay energy bills, and obtain medical assistance. We also provide stable environments for at-risk children and adults. We may be able to help you. You can also call our main call center at 800-332-6347 to reach us at any time. Services include: help with child care vouchers, food, financial support, and child support issues. For more details, be sure to call and ask about the entire menu of items that DSS can provide.
